Crash and stability review
Five working days with the last two store releases: crash clusters, ANRs, watchdog kills, and a written cut list for the next stand-up.
This is the flagship piece of work at App Garden Base. It is for product owners and mobile leads whose consumer app has a noisy crash console after a store push and who need a named list of what to cut, defer, or watch — not another export of raw stacks.
Who it is for
Teams shipping iOS or Android apps used daily in Malaysia (retail, transport, banking-adjacent wallets, media) who already collect crash reports but cannot agree which cluster is the real fire. You need someone who will sit through the last two versions with you and resist the urge to “fix everything.”
Result
You leave with a stability brief: the three clusters that explain most of the pain, the freeze or kill patterns that are not crashes, what is out of scope this week, and the evidence (device class, OS, entry path) a fixer should reproduce first.
Scope
Included: a kickoff on crash volume by version; joint reading of top clusters and ANR traces; a comparison of the current release against the previous one; one working session with the engineer who owns the suspected area; a written brief and a closing hour with product.
Excluded: writing production code, store submission, device lab hire, and running your crash vendor for you. We do not keep a copy of user identifiers.
Provider and process
Reviews are led by a crash analyst from App Garden Base, usually Farah Lim, with a second reader on the traces. Day 1 is access and a timeline of the last push. Days 2–3 are cluster reading. Day 4 is the cut list. Day 5 is the brief and questions.
Duration, place, preparation
Five working days. We work at Level 8, 31 Example Road, Petaling Jaya, or join a war-room from Malaysia Time. Send read-only crash console access, the two version numbers in dispute, a list of known device models, and whether symbol files exist for both builds.
Constraints
We will not invent a single root cause if the traces disagree. If symbolication is missing, the brief will say so and the quote may stop at a narrower reading.
Price and next step
Quoted from RM 18,500 for a single app and two versions. Extra store listings or a third version are priced after the kickoff. Write to us with the version numbers and we will answer within two working days.
